Subject: Lack of infrastructure in government schools
Sir/Madam,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily I would like to draw the kind attention of the authority concerned to the serious problem of lack of infrastructure in government schools, which has become a matter of great concern in recent times. Proper infrastructure is essential for effective learning and overall development of students.
The problem has been worsening day by day due to insufficient classrooms, inadequate furniture, lack of clean drinking water and toilets, and shortage of teaching aids. As a result, students are unable to learn in a comfortable and safe environment, which negatively affects their academic performance. If immediate steps are not taken, the situation is likely to take a more serious turn in future.
It is high time for the government to take drastic and effective steps to improve infrastructure in government schools by building proper classrooms, providing necessary facilities, and ensuring adequate teaching resources. Moreover, public awareness should be aroused through your editorial so that people understand the importance of quality education and support these improvements.

আপনার সম্মানিত দৈনিক পত্রিকার কলামের মাধ্যমে সরকারি বিদ্যালয়ে অবকাঠামোর গুরুতর সমস্যার প্রতি সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করতে চাই, যা সাম্প্রতিক সময়ে একটি বড় উদ্বেগের কারণ হয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে। সঠিক অবকাঠামো শিক্ষার্থীদের কার্যকরী শিক্ষা ও সার্বিক বিকাশের জন্য অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
পর্যাপ্ত শ্রেণিকক্ষের অভাব, অপ্রতুল আসবাবপত্র, পরিচ্ছন্ন পানীয় জল ও শৌচাগারের অভাব এবং শিক্ষণ সামগ্রীর ঘাটির কারণে দিন দিন এই সমস্যা আরও বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে। এর ফলে শিক্ষার্থীরা একটি আরামদায়ক ও নিরাপদ পরিবেশে পড়াশোনা করতে পারছে না, যা তাদের একাডেমিক পারফরম্যান্সকে নেতিবাচকভাবে প্রভাবিত করছে। অবিলম্বে কার্যকর ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ না করলে ভবিষ্যতে পরিস্থিতি আরও গুরুতর হয়ে উঠতে পারে।
অতএব, পর্যাপ্ত শ্রেণিকক্ষ নির্মাণ, প্রয়োজনীয় সুবিধা প্রদান এবং যথাযথ শিক্ষণ সম্পদ নিশ্চিত করার মাধ্যমে সরকারি বিদ্যালয়ে অবকাঠামো উন্নয়নে সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে কঠোর ও কার্যকর পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করা একান্ত প্রয়োজন। পাশাপাশি, আপনার সম্পাদকীয়ের মাধ্যমে জনসচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি করা উচিত, যাতে মানুষ মানসম্পন্ন শিক্ষার গুরুত্ব বুঝে এই উন্নয়নে সহায়তা করে।
