Subject: Importance of public discipline
Sir/Madam,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily I would like to draw the kind attention of the authority concerned to the importance of public discipline, which has become a serious matter of concern in recent times. Discipline in public life is essential for maintaining order, safety, and harmony in society.
The problem has been worsening day by day due to lack of awareness, disregard for rules, and indifference towards civic responsibilities. As a result, traffic congestion, public disorder, and inconvenience to common people are increasing. If immediate steps are not taken, the situation is likely to take a more serious turn in future.
It is high time for the government to take drastic and effective steps to promote public discipline through education, strict enforcement of laws, and regular awareness campaigns. Moreover, public awareness should be aroused through your editorial so that people become conscious of their duties and responsibilities.

আপনার সম্মানিত দৈনিক পত্রিকার কলামের মাধ্যমে জনশৃঙ্খলার গুরুত্বের প্রতি সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করতে চাই, যা সাম্প্রতিক সময়ে একটি গুরুতর উদ্বেগের বিষয় হয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে। সমাজে শৃঙ্খলা, নিরাপত্তা ও সৌহার্দ্য বজায় রাখতে জনজীবনে শৃঙ্খলা অত্যন্ত প্রয়োজনীয়।
সচেতনতার অভাব, নিয়মকানুনের প্রতি অবহেলা এবং নাগরিক দায়িত্ব পালনে উদাসীনতার কারণে দিন দিন জনশৃঙ্খলার অবনতি ঘটছে। এর ফলে যানজট, জনঅশান্তি এবং সাধারণ মানুষের ভোগান্তি বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে। অবিলম্বে কার্যকর ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ না করলে ভবিষ্যতে পরিস্থিতি আরও গুরুতর হয়ে উঠতে পারে।
অতএব, শিক্ষা, কঠোর আইন প্রয়োগ এবং নিয়মিত সচেতনতা অভিযানের মাধ্যমে জনশৃঙ্খলা গড়ে তোলার লক্ষ্যে সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে কঠোর ও কার্যকর পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করা একান্ত প্রয়োজন। পাশাপাশি, আপনার সম্পাদকীয়ের মাধ্যমে জনসচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি করা উচিত, যাতে মানুষ নিজেদের কর্তব্য ও দায়িত্ব সম্পর্কে সচেতন হয়ে ওঠে।
