		4. Bengali translation	দরিদ্র হওয়া সত্ত্বেও লোকটি সৎ।	যদিও লোকটি দরিদ্র, তবুও সে সৎ।	লোকটি দরিদ্র, তথাপি সে সৎ।
		5. Note. in bengali	simple sentence-এ contrast বা বিপরীতধর্মী ভাব প্রকাশ করতে despite বা in spite of বসে।	complex sentence-এ দুটি বিপরীতধর্মী ক্লজ যুক্ত করতে though বা although ব্যবহৃত হয়।	compound sentence-এ দুটি স্বাধীন খণ্ডবাক্যকে সংযোগ করতে yet বা still বসে।

		3. Joining e.g.	By working hard, you will succeed.	If you work hard, you will succeed.	Work hard, or you will not succeed.
		4. Bengali translation	কঠোর পরিশ্রমের মাধ্যমে তুমি সফল হবে।	যদি তুমি কঠোর পরিশ্রম করো, তবে তুমি সফল হবে।	কঠোর পরিশ্রম করো, নতুবা তুমি সফল হবে না।
		5. Note. in bengali	শর্ত বোঝাতে simple-এ by + gerund বা in case of ব্যবহার করা হয়।	complex-এ শর্ত আরোপ করতে if বা unless যুক্ত ক্লজ ব্যবহৃত হয়।	compound-এ বিকল্প বা পরিণতির সতর্কতা বোঝাতে or অথবা otherwise বসে।

		3. Joining e.g.	Upon the rising of the sun, the fog dispersed.	When the sun rose, the fog dispersed.	The sun rose and then the fog dispersed.
		4. Bengali translation	সূর্য ওঠার সাথে সাথে কুয়াশা কেটে গেল।	যখন সূর্য উঠল, তখন কুয়াশা কেটে গেল।	সূর্য উঠল এবং তারপর কুয়াশা কেটে গেল।
		5. Note. in bengali	সময় নির্দেশ করতে simple-এ on/upon বা at the time of বসে।	সময়ভিত্তিক সাবঅর্ডিনেট ক্লজ তৈরিতে when বা as ব্যবহৃত হয়।	দুটি ঘটনা ক্রমানুসারে প্রকাশ করতে compound-এ and বা and then ব্যবহৃত হয়।
4. Cause and Reason	He was ill. The boy could not attend school.	1. Linkers / Key Words	Because of, On account of, Due to, Owing to	Because, As, Since	For, Therefore, So
		2. Structure	Prepositional phrase of cause + Main clause	Subordinating causal conjunction + Reason clause + Main clause	Independent Clause + Coordinating Conjunction (for/so) + Independent Clause
		3. Joining e.g.	Because of his illness, the boy could not attend school.	Because he was ill, the boy could not attend school.	He was ill, so the boy could not attend school.
		4. Bengali translation	তার অসুস্থতার কারণে ছেলেটি বিদ্যালয়ে যেতে পারেনি।	যেহেতু সে অসুস্থ ছিল, তাই ছেলেটি বিদ্যালয়ে যেতে পারেনি।	সে অসুস্থ ছিল, তাই ছেলেটি বিদ্যালয়ে যেতে পারেনি।
		5. Note. in bengali	কারণ বোঝাতে simple-এ because of বা owing to বসে।	কারণ নির্দেশক সাবঅর্ডিনেট ক্লজ গঠনে because, as বা since ব্যবহৃত হয়।	ফলাফল বা কারণ প্রকাশ করতে compound-এ so বা for বসে।
5. Purpose	He worked hard. He wanted to earn money.	1. Linkers / Key Words	To, In order to, With a view to	So that, In order that	And, Therefore
		2. Structure	Infinitive phrase (to + verb) or prepositional gerund phrase	Main clause + Subordinating conjunction (so that) + Pronoun + modal (can/could) + Verb	Independent Clause + Coordinating Conjunction + Independent Clause
		3. Joining e.g.	He worked hard to earn money.	He worked hard so that he could earn money.	He wanted to earn money and he worked hard.
		4. Bengali translation	সে টাকা উপার্জনের জন্য কঠোর পরিশ্রম করেছিল।	সে কঠোর পরিশ্রম করেছিল যাতে সে টাকা উপার্জন করতে পারে।	সে টাকা উপার্জন করতে চেয়েছিল এবং সে কঠোর পরিশ্রম করেছিল।
		5. Note. in bengali	উদ্দেশ্য বোঝাতে simple sentences-এ infinitive (to) বা with a view to বসে।	উদ্দেশ্য প্রকাশকারী complex sentence-এ so that-এর পরে can/could ব্যবহৃত হয়।	দুটি স্বাধীন খণ্ডবাক্যকে জোড়া দিতে compound-এ and ব্যবহৃত হয়।
6. Effect	The box is very heavy. The child cannot lift it.	1. Linkers / Key Words	Too... to	So... that	Very... and therefore, And so
		2. Structure	Subject + verb + too + adjective/adverb + to-infinitive	Subject + verb + so + adjective/adverb + that + negative/positive clause	Independent Clause + Coordinating Conjunction + Independent Clause
		3. Joining e.g.	The box is too heavy for the child to lift.	The box is so heavy that the child cannot lift it.	The box is very heavy, and therefore the child cannot lift it.
		4. Bengali translation	বাক্সটি শিশুর তোলার পক্ষে অতিরিক্ত ভারী।	বাক্সটি এতই ভারী যে শিশুটি এটি তুলতে পারে না।	বাক্সটি খুব ভারী, এবং তাই শিশুটি এটি তুলতে পারে না।
		5. Note. in bengali	ফলাফল বা মাত্রাতিরিক্ততা বোঝাতে simple-এ too... to কাঠামো ব্যবহার করা হয়।	ফলাফল বোঝাতে complex sentence-এ so... that ব্যবহৃত হয়।	ফলাফল নির্দেশ করতে compound-এ and therefore বা and so ব্যবহৃত হয়।

		3. Joining e.g.	He ran like a deer.	He ran as fast as a deer runs.	He ran and a deer runs fast.
		4. Bengali translation	সে একটি হরিনের মতো দৌড়াল।	সে একটি হরিন যেভাবে দৌড়ায় ঠিক ততটাই দ্রুত দৌড়াল।	সে দৌড়াল এবং একটি হরিন দ্রুত দৌড়ায়।
		5. Note. in bengali	তুলনা বা ধরণ বোঝাতে simple-এ like বা as... as ব্যবহৃত হয়।	তুলনামূলক বা ধরণবাচক complex sentence-এ as... as বা as if বসে।	সমান বৈশিষ্ট্য প্রকাশ করতে compound বাক্য গঠিত হতে পারে।
