Bishnupur, 23 December: The much-awaited Bishnupur Mela 2025 began yesterday, attracting thousands of visitors, artisans, and performers from across the state. The fair, held in the town’s central grounds, showcased traditional handicrafts, terracotta art, handloom textiles, and local cuisine, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Bishnupur. Over 500 stalls participated, displaying a vibrant mix of artistry and creativity. The inaugural ceremony was attended by prominent cultural figures and local officials, who appreciated the efforts of artisans in preserving traditional crafts.
