Why is the Sky So High?

-Long ago everybody could touch the sky because the sky was very close to the Earth.   (বহু দিন আগে সবাই আকাশ স্পর্শ করতে পারত কারণ আকাশ পৃথিবীর খুব কাছে ছিল।)

36. What was the sound of the raindrops?  (বৃষ্টির ফোঁটার শব্দ কেমন ছিল?)

- The sound of the raindrops was pitter-patter. (বৃষ্টির ফোঁটার শব্দ ছিল ঝিরিঝিরি।)
37. Why was the old woman angry at the sky? (বৃদ্ধা কেন আকাশের উপর রাগ করেছিলেন?)

- The old woman was angry at the sky because raindrops fell on to the areas she had just swept.( বৃদ্ধা আকাশের উপর রাগ করেছিলেন কারণ বৃষ্টির ফোঁটা সেই জায়গাগুলোতে পড়েছিল যা তিনি সবেমাত্র ঝেঁটিয়েছিলেন।)
38. What did the sky do to avoid the dust?  ( ধুলো এড়াতে আকাশ কী করেছিল?)

- The sky jumped out of the old woman's way to avoid the dust.( ধুলো এড়াতে আকাশ বৃদ্ধার পথ থেকে লাফিয়ে সরে গিয়েছিল।)
39. Why did the woman keep on sweeping?(মহিলাটি কেন ঝাঁট দিতে থাকে?)

- The woman kept on sweeping because she wanted to keep her hut clean. (মহিলাটি ঝাঁট দিতে থাকে কারণ সে তার কুঁড়েঘর পরিষ্কার রাখতে চেয়েছিল।)
