How Rubber is Made
Rubber is an elastic material obtained from latex of plants. The production of rubber begins with the collection of latex from rubber plants. The latex is then chemically treated and mixed to prepare it for processing. Afterward, it is shaped into slabs and put under a cutter to get the desired size and shape. The slabs are then sent to a smoke-house to dry, which makes them durable. Once dried, the rubber is packed into bales. These bales are either sent to shops for local use or shipped for export to other countries. This process converts raw latex into usable rubber products.
