Dear Dipankar,
Hope you're doing well!
I have to tell you about a hilarious incident from last monsoon. Our power went out, and you know how my grandpa is – always trying to fix things! He grabbed a huge torch and, in the dark, tripped right over Bholu, who let out a surprised yelp. The torch flew out of his hand and landed with a splash in a bucket of rainwater, instantly dying.
The funniest part was seeing his bewildered face, dimly lit by my phone, as he stood there dripping wet with a now-useless torch. He just blurted out, "Well, that's certainly not helping!" Bholu, of course, looked completely innocent. We couldn't stop laughing for ages. Wish you were there to see it!

গত বর্ষার একটি মজার ঘটনার কথা তোকে বলতেই হবে। আমাদের এখানে কারেন্ট চলে গিয়েছিল, আর তুই তো জানিসই আমার দাদু কেমন—সবকিছু ঠিক করার চেষ্টা করেন! তিনি একটা বড় টর্চ নিয়ে অন্ধকারে হাঁটছিলেন, আর তখনই ভোলুর ওপর হোঁচট খেলেন, ভোলুও অবাক হয়ে চিৎকার করে উঠল। টর্চটা তাঁর হাত থেকে ছিটকে গিয়ে বৃষ্টির জলের বালতির মধ্যে সপাস করে পড়ল, আর সঙ্গে সঙ্গেই নিভে গেল।
সবচেয়ে মজার অংশ ছিল দাদুর হতভম্ব মুখটা দেখা, আমার ফোনের আবছা আলোয় তাঁর ভিজে চুপচুপে চেহারাটা আর হাতে নিস্ক্রিয় টর্চটা দেখে আমরা হাসা থামাতেই পারছিলাম না। তিনি শুধু মুখ ফসকে বললেন, "ধুর, এটা তো কোনো সাহায্যই করছে না!" আর ভোঁলু, সে তো একেবারেই নিরীহ মুখে বসে ছিল। আমরা অনেকক্ষণ ধরে শুধু হেসেই গেলাম। ইশ, তুমি যদি তখন থাকতে!
